C-School Information

 
HM "C" Schools...Training the Navy's Finest
 
FY21 (PRD Oct 2020 thru Sept 2021) packages for all C Schools are being accepted as of now.   

HM “C” SCHOOL PACKAGES ARE TO BE SUBMITTED NO LESS THAN 13 MONTHS PRIOR TO PRD.

Once Sailors are in 12 month PRD window they are assets of the rating detailer and will be distributed as needed per NAVADMIN 231/17.

Once Sailors are selected via CMS for fleet orders, they are not eligible to submit for C School.

L00A – SEARCH AND RESCUE

L01A – SUBMARINE IDC: Please check the CANTRAC for qualification.  Also refer to MILPERSMAN 1306-402 for Submarine ASVAB qualifications and Page 13 for Sub Vol.​

L10A – SURFACE IDC: Paygrade E5 – E7 are in need. ​

L15A – ULTRASOUND (Must be licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic (ARRT) prior to applying)

L19A – OPTICIAN TECHNICIAN

L22A – PHARMACY

L23A – SURGICAL TECHNICIAN

L24A – BEHAVIOR HEALTH

L27A – MEDICAL DEEP SEA DIVING TECHNICIAN: Urgent need for male and female Sailors in paygrade E5 and below.  Review MILPERSMAN 1306-983 and CANTRAC for submission requirements.​

L30A – HISTOPATHOLOGY

L31A – ADVANCED MEDICAL LABORATORY

L32A – RESPIRATORY

L37A – ADVANCE DENTAL LABORATORY 

L39A – NAVY DRUG AND ALCOHOL COUNSELOR INTERN

L34A – NAVY DRUG AND ALCOHOL COUNSELOR 


-Command Career Counselors:  

1.  All SRB/OTT request are to be submitted to PERS 811 once orders are in hand.

2.  Ensure the earliest available date is on the 1306/7 for the timeframe the command is willing to release Sailor. 

3.  Provide the CCC phone number and email address on 1306/7.

4.  Commands are not authorized to send Sailors TAD to any C School. 

5.  Above all:  READ CANTRAC.
