Meet the Cast of  Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow takes audiences back in time to Hawkins, Indiana, 1959. The stage play introduces us to a young Joyce Maldonado (later Byers) (Isabella Pappas), Jim Hopper (Oscar Lloyd),  Bob Newby (Christopher Buckley), Dr. Brenner (Patrick Vaill) — and yes, even young Henry Creel (Louis McCartney).

“This is a story about a family trying to get a second chance and everything going in a direction that no one could’ve foreseen,” says Vaill. “And it’s an adventure, it’s horror, it’s science fiction.”

Don’t miss Stranger Things: The First Shadow — which won two Olivier Awards — on London’s West End at the Phoenix Theatre now, and hear what the original cast has to say about taking on these beloved (well, some of them) characters in the video above.
