Colin From Accounts is returning for a season two on May 30 with co-creators, protagonists and happily married couple, Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall.

In the first season, Ashley (Harriet) and Gordon (Patrick) are navigating their ‘relationship’ – or lack thereof – which all begins when Ashley flashes her breast at Gordon and hits a dog named Colin.

As the complex and hilarious stories unravel, those charmed by the series have naturally become curious as to where the Binge series is filmed.

The streets of Australian are uncanny – particularly when we are so accustomed to the American paths so regularly displayed on screen.

The homegrown comedy series is mostly shot on location in Sydney, NSW, Australia. But there are various suburbs where fans could possibly see its hilarious characters doing their best work.

In the first season, shot in 2021 amid the COVID pandemic, Colin From Accounts was filmed across Marrickville, Leichhardt and Redfern. Filming was wrapped by March 2022.

Filming commenced more than a year later for the second season, in November 2023. Mere months after another season was confirmed by Binge just after the 2023 TV WEEK Logie Awards, where the brilliant series took home three awards.

While the new season means viewers will experience more of Sydney’s landscape, it is currently unclear as to exactly where it was filmed.

Despite being Australian’s themselves, arriving to the filming location is a massive journey for Harriet and Patrick. The married couple are currently residing in America with their daughter Joni Brooklyn Brammall, who they adopted via a US agency in 2021.

Patrick moved to Los Angeles in 2016, with Harriet joining him a year later.

“I think you want to be close to the person you’re with,” she told Confidential at the time. “I think it was a natural thing anyway.”
