UPDATED:

The popular musical “Grease” is coming to Tustin as part of the Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts’ 2024 Broadway in the Park series.

The show will be presented at Peppertree Park through Saturday, Aug. 10.

Barry Pearl, who played Doody in the movie adaptation of “Grease,” is the director for the production under the stars.

This is Broadway in the Park’s 22nd production, and it will include kid-friendly pre-show activities, such as face painting and crafts, and opportunities to win prizes.

The park’s gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for each night, and the show will begin at roughly 7:25.

General admission tickets range from $25 in advance to $30 at the door. Tickets for children 5-10 are $15 or free for those under 4.

There are group, reserved and premium tickets, but most options are already sold out. Check TACFA’s website for more information about how to purchase tickets and pricing.

Picnics are welcome, and several vendors will also sell food at the performance, including Meat Up BBQ, Fiesta Gourmet and Burning Buns. A snack bar will be available selling ice cream, snacks and drinks.

TACFA hosts the summertime production as a fundraiser, it subsidizes a variety of art programs in the Tustin Unified School District.
