Canada vs France score updates: Time, TV channel, streaming for 2024 Olympic exhibition

It's the Canada vs. France in a men's basketball exhibition ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday in Orleans, France.

Team Canada features Oklahoma City Thunder stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort.

Canada is coming off an 86-72 loss to Team USA on July 10 in Las Vegas in its pre-Olympic opener.

The Canadians will close out exhibition play against Puerto Rico at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Canada faces Greece in Group A play in its Olympic opener at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27.

Final: Canada 85, France 73

Although France kept it close through three-quarters, Canada pulled away in the fourth. France's last lead would be at 45-44 at the start of the third quarter.

Wembanyama had 10 points and was one of four in double figures for Team France. Yabusele had 18 points and made four three-pointers during the contest.

Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 23 points, scoring eight in the fourth quarter. RJ Barrett followed behind with 21 points for Canada.

Canada will close out exhibition play Sunday against Puerto Rico at 11:30 a.m. CT.

Third quarter: Canada 64, France 58

France would take an early lead in the third and a made three-pointer at the buzzer by Yabusele would put France within six, but Canada would still outscore its opponent by two in the quarter.

Gilgeous-Alexander was held to just two points in the third, and De Colo raised his tally to 11 for France.

Halftime: Canada 44, France 40

France kept Canada within arms reach throughout the first half, but Gilgeous-Alexander scored 13 before halftime, shooting 4-of-6 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free throw line, helping Team Canada stay a step ahead.

De Colo had a solid half, scoring a team-high nine points for France, and had three rebounds and one assist at the end of the second quarter. Despite Wembanyama sitting most of the first quarter due to early foul trouble, he had eight points at halftime.

First quarter: Canada 25, France 19

After looking sound defensively to start, France's Wembanyama went to the bench with two fouls early, and Canada was able to build an early lead.

Gilgeous-Alexander led Canada with seven points in the first quarter and Nembhard had six. Guerschon Yabusele and Nando De Colo had five points each for France.
