The color palette came to be when we first laid eyes on a burgundy Rolls Royce driven by none other than Princess Margaret in the uber stylish show “The Crown”. Princess Margaret and her flamboyant lifestyle quickly became the muse for “the gossip room”. We loved the idea of playing up a vestige of proper homes of the past: the cloak room off of the powder, where the guests could congregate in small groups for a little mischievous conversation outside of the spotlight.
