It's time friends, to grow pumpkins vertically!

A few tips👇
1. Compost rich soil - they are heavy eaters
2. We used two hog panels for the arch and 6 metal fence posts and weaved it in
3. Planted 5 pumpkins on each side
4. Planted a smaller variety called MORANGA (still some 20 pounders)
5. No, I didn't tie them up, vines get stronger as the pumpkin grows 🤓

Follow @thepurposefulyou to see how our 2024 pumpkin arch goes!!! I have new plans😊

Patti Rother | Enchanted Gardens CO on Instagram: "First time trying a pumpkin arch. We’ve had these tall stock tanks for years and decided we’d put them together to create an arch that leads into the children’s garden and play area. We lined it up with this lovely wooden arch my wife built for the grapes to climb. We planted a few seedlings and then tucked in some seeds as well! Once everything starts popping up, we will fill it all in with flowers and herbs too. I’m so excited! #garden #gardening #suburbangarden #pumpkinarch #pumpkin" Pumpkins On Trellis, Vertical Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Arch Garden, Pumpkin Garden Ideas, Pumpkin Patch Garden, Pumpkin Arch, Pumpkin Trellis, Enchanted Gardens, Planting Pumpkins
