White board schedule ideas classroom

One of my teachers I worked with used this whiteboard with black tape to write the schedule on every day. I thought it was great because she could separate each section and not have to erase the entire thing every day. It was an excellent way for the students to keep track of the week and to keep a routine.

So, I just realized that I never posted my classroom pictures. Yes, school started in August and it is now almost February...better late than never? This is probably the first year that I am truly happy with the way my room turned out. Last year I was in Montana the week before school so I felt rushed to get things ready, and every year before that I've had to switch rooms, which is always chaos. Here is the finished product. Agenda board- I like the “todays date”

This week was pre-planning and I really got almost nothing done. I just can't figure out what to do with my room. I don't like distraction and clutter and lots of stuff.
