Old Buckets, Olson House, Cushing, Maine, oil on linen, 18” x 24.” I have been in the Olson house many times. It is close by—about a half hour from my studio. These old buckets (and basket) compositionally caught my interest. They help tell the story of Alvaro and Christina Olson’s salt water farm (now owned by the Farnsworth Art Museum).
