Today is “Dydd Santes Dwynwen” which is Welsh for St Dwynwens Day, this national day is the Welsh equivalent to Valentine’s Day and celebrates Dwynwen (translation “she who leads a blessed life”) the Welsh saint of love.

If a mood-o-meter existed, it would definitely start to go off-scale after looking through this article. All because it is simply impossible to look at kitties and to not become more joyful than before. The cat on the Iron Throne and a sparkling galactic cat are our favorites.

found their way into my guest bedroom this evening. About three months ago their stray mother gave birth to a litter of five in the potted aspidistra in my garden. Three of them died soon after birth but these two are coming along fine. The grey tabby is male and the brown tabby female. Their mother still looks after them but they are now also on solid foods.
