A simple card using Cuttlebug's D'vine Swirl and Happy Birthday embossing folders, a metal bookplate, pearls, ribbon and flowers.

I'm pretty bummed today. This is my last card challenge for Dynamic Duos. Dynamic Duos has decided to end their challenges (sniff, sniff). They really helped me think outside the box and use colors that I would never have put together. I will miss entering their challenges every week. I was browsing FB last night & saw that someone made a card using a napkin & embossing folder. I loved it & said I can do that too. I die cut a balloon onto a post it note & sponged on today's colors. I used Blushing Bride instead of Petal Pink, which I don't have. Then I stamped little images, then embossed with this Cuttlebug ef. I have dessert but you can barely see the stamped stitched hearts, so look close!! Should've used FF for them istead of BB. I haven't used the embossing machine much but I decided to experiment with it recently. I really like the simplicity of this card. There are a lot of distressing techniques that are possible with an embossed image. I will have to try some out and I'll share the outcomes.
