The red kangaroo is the largest of the marsupials and native to dry inland portions of central Australia. This cast is from a large male. Males have red-brown fur and are commonly referred to as boomers. Considerably larger than females, male total body length can reach up to 59 inches (1.5m) with an additional 39 inches (1m) in tail length.
