Before you dive into potty training, let’s talk about setting your little one up for success! 🏆

Did you know there are things you can teach your toddler BEFORE you start that makes the whole process easier? 🤯

It’s true! By breaking down potty training into bite-sized skills, we take the pressure off our kiddos (and ourselves)! 😅

Think of it like building blocks:
🧱 Recognizing the urge to go
🧱 Pulling pants up and down
🧱 Hand washing
🧱 Feeling comfy in the bathroom

We’re not asking our toddlers to learn EVERYTHING at once by focusing on these skills early. Less overwhelm = More success! 🎉

Here are 3 quirky but totally normal potty-training behaviors that might surprise you...

1. Fear of autoflush: Your little one might jump at the sound or refuse public restrooms. What to do? Try covering the sensor with a Post-it note!

2. Demanding privacy: When they want you out of the bathroom, it’s a sign of growing independence. Respecting this privacy sends a powerful message that their boundaries matter.

3. Potty talk overload: “Poop” and “pee” become their favorite words. Embracing this talk at home can actually increase their comfort with potty processes.

Remember, these quirks are normal and usually temporary. Keep patie Potty Training, Keep Patience, Public Restrooms, Starting Potty Training, Post It Note, Public Restroom, Healthy Babies, Favorite Words, Post It Notes

Consistency is key in all aspects of potty training! 🙌🏽 It’s also much safer than them balancing on a step stool to be able to reach the toilet AND tends to reduce a lot of the mess which reduces your stress!! 🩷👍🏽 Eventually when your little guy is a pro and going potty independently, you can teach him to stand, but in the beginning, children have little awareness of their bodily Potty Training Boys In 3 Days, Best Potty Training Seat, Boys Potty, Best Potty, Potty Training Seats, Teaching Boys, Potty Training Boys, To Pee, Potty Train
