Fox Performing Arts Center
3801 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside CA 92501
@riversidelive

The Fox Performing Arts Center is a staple in the Riverside community. The Fox Performing Arts Center opened as a cinema and vaudeville theater house in 1929. From its opening to the 1960’s, the Fox Theater originally was used by the Hollywood-based film industry to show previews of future film releases before final editing.

“We attract many of the nation’s top performers and host a wide variety of genres – Broadway, classic rock, soul, comedy, and more,” said Olivia Rose, Venue Marketing Manager. “In more recent years, Elvis Costello, Switchfoot, Rob Thomas, and Jerry Seinfeld have stopped by, along with the casts for touring productions of Broadway’s biggest hits.”

The Fox Performing Art Center works in conjunction with the Fox Foundation. The Fox Riverside Theater Foundation works to connect our venue to under-served communities in our local region. The foundation has a special focus on inspiring and supporting local students to pursue careers both on stage and behind the scenes.

There are some dynamite shows coming up at the Fox Performing Arts Center. The Inland Pacific Ballet Presents: The Nutcracker December has three shows between December 22nd and 23rd. Grab the whole family and check out PAW Patrol Live! “Heroes Unite” which has four shows between January 13th and 14th.
