Ronald Tarket OBITUARY

Ronald “Ron” Tarket 91, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2023. He was born in Iowa City, IA and moved to Littleton, Colorado with his family when young and graduated from Littleton High School. He went to the University of Colorado on a wrestling scholarship, but left there to join the Navy. After serving, he went back to school at UNC and became a teacher and coach in Loveland, CO. He was the first Principal of Walt Clark Junior High School in Loveland. After retiring, he moved to Arizona, and enjoyed his retirement to it’s fullest with his wife Linda, living both in Arizona and Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. He moved back to Colorado in May of 2023, and enjoyed the beauty of Colorado. He continued to love playing golf, enjoying the ocean and spending much of his time outdoors. He was proceeded in death by his wife Linda. He is survived by his children Steve Tarket (Laura), Ken Tarket, Laura Tarket-Johnson (Stephen Johnson), his step-children Megan Bloom (Bryan), Trevor Bode, his grandchildren Amber Schrodeor (Kevin), Carrie Tarket (Zach Knysh), Emmalie Trestrail, his step-grandchildren Zachary Bloom (Kendra), Hannah Rivera (Brandon), Larissa Vanderlip (Alex), Dalton Bode, Kayla Bode, Gia Nottingham (Jason), Haley Lewis (Terry) and 14 great-grandchildren. Ron’s Life Celebration will be held on Saturday August 24th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the American Legion in Loveland, Co and will be followed by light refreshments.
