Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle Float rises higher than expectations due in part to the delicate cinematography by Alfonso Chin, and by the additions in LaVercombe and Lee's script. Rated: 3/5 Feb 22, 2024 Full Review Peter Rainer FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I didn't think they had a whole lot of chemistry, which is a problem for a movie like this. Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Will Bjarnar InSession Film Unless filmmakers are willing — or able — to craft something new in this genre, or at worst, to convey a fresh sensation from something familiar, perhaps it's best not to try altogether. Rated: D Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry While it initially starts in a relatable sense to the audience, it loses much of its authenticity and charm in the lackluster filler and predictability, drowning with no chance of rescue. Mar 5, 2024 Full Review Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media As a movie, however, the bows are all tied up a little too neatly, and the romance, while between two twenty-somethings, still gives off first-love vibes. Feb 20, 2024 Full Review Al Alexander Movies Thru the Spectrum Bang does what she can with the material, but is left drowning in cliches. Rated: C Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Sai M If you like sweet and romantic getaway stories that take place in tiny close knit communities with enigmatic and quirky characters this movie will be right up your alley. Waverly is in a predicament where she is trying to navigate both who she is, who her family wants her to be, and who she is meant to become. It leads her to make some rash decisions and go spend some time with a relative she hasn't seen for a while, but who offers her an instant warm welcome to her tiny little world and the people that make up her daily life. It's all about to learning to breathe through her trials that pushes the story but the introduction of unexpected romance only makes it that much sweeter when she meets her aunt's neighbors. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Zhao Z There are not many romance movies on screen now days unless you're talking of the low rent Hallmark movies. Float passes the time away but isn't memorable in any way. While some don't like it, if you like romance movies check out "Greatest Hits" that has both an interesting premise and some original dialogue. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review G S I would have liked if they had stuck to the book a bit more because then the found family aspect would be more prevalent. Also all the corny jokes that were sweet and made up Waverly’s personality were not there. All the scenes I was looking forward to were excluded as well. Ok if you have never read the book but compared to the book not good. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Karen F This isn’t filmed in Tofino. It’s filmed in Squamish Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/24 Full Review Santanu M Suah a great show . Lovely Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Sunny C Its a romantic movie lover must watch awesome movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews
