Patricia Woods

Teacher at the school

Opinion of Miss McGowan: Miss McGowan was a good teacher but she didn't have very
many friends.
Last time you saw Miss McGowan: She was walking to her classroom, it was about 8:15
pm and she looked upset. I think she was crying; she was wiping her eyes with a
handkerchief.
When you heard the scream: I was serving drinks with some of the other teachers in the
cafeteria.

Janice Carroll
Teacher at the school
Opinion of Ms. McGowan: I only just started at the school so I didn't really know Ms.
McGowan.
Last time you saw Ms. McGowan: I didn't see Ms. McGowan at all.
When you heard the scream: I was talking to some of the other new teachers in the
cafeteria.

McKayla Newell
Ex-student
Opinion of Ms. McGowan: She wasn't one of my teachers when I was at school, but I
always heard from my friends that she was very strict.
Last time you saw Ms. McGowan: Early in the evening, the party was just starting.
When you heard the scream: I was getting something to drink in the cafeteria.

always upsetting poor Miss McGowan. I went to see if she was okay and found
her crying. I loaned her my handkerchief; I always carry one because of my allergies.
When you heard the scream: I was cleaning the floor in the men's restroom.

Memories of Miss McGowan: She was a very scary teacher. Most of the students worked
hard because they were afraid of her. However, I did very well in English and, because of
Miss McGowan, Im training to be a teacher.
Last time you saw Miss McGowan: I spoke to her briefly at about 7:45. I was telling her
about my studies but she didn't seem interested. She kept looking around and told me she
had to leave when she saw Mr. Green. It was a bit rude if you ask me.
When you heard the scream: I was dancing in the Cafeteria with some of the other exstudents.

Edward Green
Principle at the school
Opinion of Miss McGowan: Ive known Miss McGowan since we were both students in
college. I thought she was a wonderful woman and Im going to miss her very much.
Last time you saw Miss McGowan: I was very busy this evening, so I didn't see Miss
McGowan.
When you heard the scream: I was in my office working on the computer.
