◦Schist-formed from an igneous rock, shale and
sedimentary rock
◦Gneiss-have been granite, which is an igneous rock but
heat and pressure changed it

Igneous rock
They are formed when the melted rock that called magma
erupt than the lava comes out from volcano if, lava cools
down than it becomes to igneous rock.
◦Granite-formed by slowly cooling small amount of
magma that were trapped beneath of earth’s surface
◦Scoria-formed when lava quickly cooled above ground
◦Pumice-formed when lava quickly cooled above ground
but it’s so light that can float on the water
◦Obsidian-formed when lava quickly cooled above ground
but it is actually glass and not mixture of minerals
