Ensure that all suppliers acknowledged the receipt of purchase orders in a timely manner.
Supervise the progress of the fabrications/productions/delivery of ordered goods/services and keep end users
informed of any event that may result in late delivery (Alert notices).
Attend expediting visits and meetings as necessary and ensure MOM are issued.
Ensure a close relation with the shipping agents to allow the anticipation of the release of the goods.
Review the documentation of vendors delivery performance in coordination with end users.
Review and finalize the registration of new vendors in the system through the collection of necessary information
and documents.
Review the submission of the supplier's prequalification applications, ensure it is in accordance with the project/BU
requirements, liaise with concerned parties to review the technical part and with the supplier to amend the application
until it is acceptable and ready for submission.

Ensure supplier awareness and compliance with new invoice and billing procedures (VAT).
Lead in negotiating clearing and freight contracts with airlines and shipping agents.
Manage the supply chain cycle and provides ideas how to improve the supply chain processes.
Manage manual and automatic shipments providing availability when needed and coordinating with logistics.
Answer customer questions on orders, shipments, invoices, packing list, prices, availability and tracking information.
Communicate daily with our Projects/Planning to ensure appropriate delivery of products and regarding customer
set up, claims, billing and logistics.
Involved with ability to troubleshoot unexpected problems by coordinating efforts among all related departments to
ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Assist customers for order entry, shipping, after sales, documentation and tools
Maintain the log of the expediting and inspection reports and ensure their dispatch.
Logistic Officer Duties and Responsibilities
A Logistic Officer must oversee and coordinate various tasks in order to maintain adequate levels of food, water and
other supplies and equipment for staff or other personnel. The following are among the core Logistic Officer duties
and responsibilities.
Coordinate and Track Shipments
Once order requests or purchase orders are received, it is up to the Logistic Officer to manage the pulling and
packing of materials and arrange appropriate transportation. Among the tasks that might need to be completed in this
responsibility include freight consolidation, cost analysis, routing and scheduling. Logistic Officers must also track
shipments to ensure they arrive on time and that shipment and delivery processes adhere to any pertinent
regulations.
Manage Warehouse
A Logistic Officer is typically responsible for the storage of materials that are to be used by staff/ office personnel or
that will be shipping out to sites or other client locations. Warehouse management duties include maintaining
inventory, ordering shipping materials, operating necessary equipment and managing warehouse personnel.
Analyze Supply Chain Systems
The Logistic Officer must ensure that all aspects of a logistics team, such as shipping, warehousing and procurement,
are working together to fill orders and deliver materials on a timely basis. They will review all processes and systems
and design and implement new plans and procedures as needed. They are also responsible for creating and
maintaining contingency plans.
Oversee Security
It often falls to the Logistic Officer to manage the safety and security of a site or establishment. This might include
checking in visitors, handling emergency situations, patrolling areas and preparing reports.
Logistic Officer Skills
The successful Logistic Officer will possess strong organizational, customer service and communication skills. They
would be detail-oriented team players with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. As Logistic Officers typically
work with computers and warehouse equipment, strong technical and mechanical skills are helpful. In addition to
