    STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

    I would like to introduce myself as Achhru Kant. I was born on 30/06/1993. I have
    done my Class 10th in year 2009 from Punjab School Education Board and my class
    12th from CBSE in year 2011. After this, I have done 4 years degree in Engineering -
    B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Maharishi Markandeshwer in year 2015.
    After completion of graduation, I decided to do my higher studies from abroad
    because of better quality of education so, I prepared for PTE and appeared for it on
    05/12/2015 and scored 56 overall.

    As I wish to become a Professional Engineer so I have decided to study Masters of


    Engineering. I already have done my Bachelors in Engineering so I wish to continue
    with my stream. In my chosen course Students are required to complete 4 Core
    units, 12 specialisation units and a practicum unit. So with international degree and
    experience, I will have better chances of finding job which gives not only good salary
    but satisfaction too as I will have option to do work in any part of the world

    I have chosen Australia as it has international students from almost all countries.
    The climatic conditions in Australia are same as compare to India. So I can easily
    cope up with the atmosphere of this country. One of the main reasons to choose
    Australia is that it is the most crime free country of the world. The authorities are
    cooperative with the people. In my perception if the people in any part of world are
    cooperative with other people, that place is always save for survivor. Australia is less
    expensive as compare to other countries and education system of Australia is in top
    10 systems in world of education

    I searched for different universities and institutes who offers best engineering
    course and found Edith Cowan University (ECU) as one of the best institutes of
    Australia located in the Western Australia. ECU has one of Australia's fastest
    growing Engineering Schools. ECU has established a sound reputation for delivering
    quality education since 1982. ECU helps student to develop interesting and
    challenging careers by imparting skills that are in high demand globally. ECU has
    long history of delivering higher quality, competitively priced and practical program
    to Australian and international students over years. It is totally full of modern
    facilities and excellence teaching methods. Its facilities are some of the best one can
    find at any university in Australia.

    In the latest Good Universities Guide, ECU graduates gave a 5-star rating for
    teaching quality and for the salaries they've started on since graduating. It has
    achieved consistent 5-star ratings for the past seven years, including categories such
    as overall graduate satisfaction and generic skills development. No other public
    universities in Western Australia and very few across Australia have comparable
    results.

    I am well aware of the demands and long hours of dedicated studies that I will have
    to put in. But I have the strength and confidence to succeed in my future endeavors.
