Project Title: Pre-marital sex and Early Pregnancy Seminar


 Introduction: Premarital sex is sexual activity practiced by
people before they are married. In this generation, that behavior
is our issue, especially to the adolescent and youths. Having that
kind of behavior may lead to early pregnancy and some
consequences like sexual coercion, early marriage, unplanned
pregnancies, abortion and increased risk for having sexually
transmitted infections as well as HIV. Since our priority is the
main health of youths and adolescents, the Maaasahang
Mandirigma ng Kabataan (MMK) will organize a two (2) days
seminar for the month of March in preparation for the
International Women’s Day. We are focus to all of Don Jose
Integrated High School students to attend in our seminar and
also include their parents or guardians to be aware to the event.

 We aim to spread that the premarital sex should not be practiced


by the youths and adolescents.
 We want to give them more knowledge about premarital sex and
early pregnancy.
 We want to showcase what would be the consequences when
they practiced premarital sex at a very young age.
 To avoid teenagers encounter sexually transmitted diseases and
decrease the early pregnancy in teenagers.

II. Purpose: We are concern to what is happening to our generation,


especially to the youth and adolescents. One in ten young Filipino
women age 15-19 has begun childbearing: 8 percent are already
mothers and another 2 percent are pregnant with their first child
according to the results of the 2013 National Demographic and
Health Survey (NDHS). The purpose of this seminar is to provide
knowledge about premarital sex and early pregnancy. We want to
show to the youth and adolescents the consequences they will get
if they practiced this behavior. The parents or guardians will gain
some ideas how to encourage their teenager not to have sex in
early age. We will give presentation that will surely engage the
teens not to have sex at a very young.

III. Description: The seminar will be held in Don Jose Integrated


High School covered court. The date is March 7 to 8, 2020
(Saturday and Sunday) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Participants will
be given certificates that will serve as proof that they attend the
seminar. There will be some activities and prizes that are
connected to the project. The topics to be discussed are effects of
premarital sex and early pregnancy, how to encourage teens not
to have sex, how to prevent early pregnancy and prevention of
sexually transmitted infections.
IV. Support: The estimated budget needed for the project will range
to ₱20, 000 - ₱ 25,000. This will includes the certificate and gift
for the guest speaker, certificates for the participants,
decorations, tables, projector, sound system, and foods.

I. Project Title: WAR ON DRUG IS WAR ON US; Start the
Healing Process Today
II. Introduction: Drug addiction, also called substance use disorder,
is a disease that affects a person's brain and behavior and leads to
an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drug or
medication. Substances such as alcohol, marijuana and nicotine
also are considered drugs. When you're addicted, you may continue
using the drug despite the harm it causes. As the time passed by,
the number of people who are engaged to drug addiction is
simultaneously increasing and because of that the Youth
Organization (YO) will conduct a one (1) day seminar for the month
of November. In line with this, we are targeting all the students of
Don Jose Integrated High School to attend in our seminar and it will
also include their parents to have an idea what it is all about.

 Our goal is to spread awareness about what would be the


possible consequences if you engage yourself to drugs.
 To educate the students, teachers and faculty staff on the
truth about addiction and deadly consequences of dangerous
drugs.
 We want them to give a full understanding about drug
addiction and how to prevent it.
 Somehow to prevent the students not to engage their selves
on drug addiction.
 To decrease the number of people who are engage to drug
addiction.

III. Purpose: This project is worth sponsoring for because it will enable
the students of Don Jose Integrated High School to develop their
knowledge about the possible consequences if they engage their
selves to drugs. It will also help those parents to have an idea on
what kind of support or guide they should do for their children. The
guest speaker will provide a good lectures that will truly engage you
not to engage yourself to drugs or any kind of addiction.

IV. Description: This project will gather all the students of Don Jose
Integrated High School and conduct the seminar in the court of the
school. This project will lasts for four (4) Saturdays of November
from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Attendees will be given certificates that
will serve as a proof that they attend the seminar and finish it until
5:00 in the afternoon and also free snacks will be given. Topics to
be discussed will includes the effects of engaging yourself to drugs
or any kind of addiction, the possible consequences that can give
you once you engage yourself to drug addiction, the signs and
symptoms and also what will be your way to avoid it. This project
will also launch a Facebook page (@youthorganization)if in case
you have questions or clarifications you can message us there.

V. Support: The estimated budget needed for the project will range to
P 15, 000- P 20,000. This will includes the certificate and gift for
the guest speaker, certificates for the attendees, papers and any
other related fees.
