of another person, I can communicate more effectively with the people around me and I can relate with
people and being able to work in large groups.

My second languages are English and Mandarin. I learned English and Mandarin at school by
listening to my teachers, imitating them and practicing how to say the words correctly, reading books,
comprehension exercises. With my second languages I improved my analytical skills or identifying a
problem and developing solutions and improved my induction reasoning skills.
My language strengths are, I can understand a lot of vocabulary, I like listening to foreign music
and it improves my performance in academic areas while my weaknesses are, difficult to pronounce
new words and confidence to speak consistently.

In all the languages that I have learned still Filipino is my favorite language because, this is our
own language and as a Filipino we should not forget it but we should be proud of it.
