PICNIC IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

Put the verbs into the present continuous tense : (am/is/are.....ing).

The smiths is having (have) a picnic out in the countryside. Mum and sue is sitting (sit) on
the picnic rug and they are watching (watch) Rex the dog. He is running (run) towards
them. He is hopening (hope) for a little treat, maybe a small sauage or a biscuit! Dad and
Jack are playing (play) football. Jack is kicking (kick) the ball. There is a horse on the hill
and it is running (run) around. There is a duck on the pond and it is swimming (swim)
towards a ball. The frog is sitting (sit) beside the pond and it is croaking (croak). To the
right, you can see a goat and he is walking (walk) fast! He can see another goat! Two baby
birds are sitting (sit) in their nest. They are waiting (wait) for their mother. It’s a lovely day
and the sun is shinning (shine). And me? I am standing (stand) in front of the pond and I am
taking (take) a photo of my family!.
