I express my deepest gratitude and sincerest, heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble
Vice-Chancellor, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, Dr S S Savrikar,
whose dynamic personality always encourages us. I convey my sincere thanks
to Board of Post Graduate Teaching & Research in Ayurveda and its Hon’ble
Members for entrusting this work to me.
I find short of word to express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to my
Guru, Guide Prof. M S Baghel, Director and Professor, I P G T & R A, Jam-
nagar who is sole force behind this work and being instrumental in publishing
this work. I am proud to be a pupil of him.
I thank all the Post Graduate Scholars of Gujarat Ayurved University
who have generously donated the digital copy of their research works which
has been utilized for preparation of this Database.
I acknowledge thanks to my wife Dr Deepa L S, my son Aprameya,
my friend Dr Ravi Rao for their priceless support, affection and constant en-
couragement.
Hope this Database will be of great use for scholars of Ayurveda despite
its shortcoming. Since many types of fonts are used for Sanskrit Sholakas, due
to non-availability of such original fonts (especially post-script fonts), in
many of the thesis, Sanskrit Shlokas may not be displayed properly. Reader
has to bear with the inconvenience.
Dr. Girish K J
