ANALYZE

Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why?
Why not?
Mutual respect and creation of classroom norms is the key. Students need to feel safe in
order to be vulnerable. By creating class routines that accept and support the ability to make
mistake ensures discipline and order in the class. This provides better understanding, respect and
acceptance with each other
2. Which of those routines where systematic and consistently implemented? Explain
your answer.
Following the Inter-agency task force (IATF) protocols. Since we are still in a pandemic
situation. Those routines set by the IATF has consistently implemented by the classroom to
ensure the safety and the health of the students, teachers and stakeholders.

The routine that I will most likely apply in my classroom room will be joining the
classroom activities. Since, nowadays teaching is more on student-centered. Therefore, I will
apply it most likely to enhance and encourage each student of mine to do collaboration and to do
socialization and make them appreciate their individual strengths and weakness.

Activity 6.2 Listing Down Classroom Rules

Resource Teacher: ________________ Teachers Signature: ___________ School: ___________

Grade/Year Level: _______________ Subject Area: ___________________ Date: ___________

OBSERVE

Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher.
Cite the importance of these rules.

Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners' safety and security.
Rules also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide a more
pleasant, secured and non-threatening environment. Rules in sure the students' engagement and
focus in their classroom activities.

Classroom Rules Importance

1. E.g. Read directions well. -Ensure less error in answering the activity
2.Raise your hand to speak -to ensure good communication
1. Share ideas -Foster vision in others
4.Be honest - Strengthens character that will allow
students to be of great service
5.Ask questions -ensure less confusions about the topic or in
subject matters.

ANALYZE

1.Analyze each given rules. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
The major goal of establishing classroom rules is to remove and avoid all distractions and
potential misbehavior that obstructs learning. The goal is to establish a happy and conducive
learning environment, and classroom management is critical to doing this.
2.Are classroom rules really important?
Every teacher wants to keep her children safe in the classroom and teach them what is
and is not acceptable behavior. Classroom rules are established to teach students how to act in an
appropriate and safe manner in the classroom, hence boosting student learning. In school, every
minute counts. Everything will be in disarray if the pupils do not have any rules to follow. This
could lead to students inflicting physical and mental harm on one another. Furthermore, students
will not be taught how to behave correctly in society as they get older. Another significant
consideration is that the student's disruptive behavior will obstruct the learning chances of other
students.
REFLECT

Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the
same rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.

Most of the rules set by the resource teacher are most likely the same with my rules.
Classroom rules are established to teach students how to act in an appropriate and safe
manner in the classroom, hence boosting student learning. In school, every minute counts.
Everything will be in disarray if the students do not have any rules to follow.
