A. Background Information for Learners


This lesson deals with getting information from various sources in everyday life.
Information, as available data everywhere, can be found in various platforms and
means such as news reports, speeches, informative talks and panel discussions,
among others. Getting information will basically expose you not only in pool of
information but should also help you identify which details are factual and not. You
are expected to identify certain details from different sources and use them in various
contexts.
B. Learning Competency with code
EN10LC-Ia-11.1: Use information from news reports, speeches, informative talks,
panel discussion, etc. in everyday conversations and exchanges.
C. Directions/ Instructions
The learners will answer all the activities given in this activity sheet using your big
notebook. Read the instruction carefully before doing each task. Finish the task at
hand before proceeding to the next. Asking for questions or clarifications about the
lesson was allowed through our official Group Chat. Submission of previous tasks not
yet submitted by the students will be channelled through the group chat
announcement page.
