Subject: Statement of Purpose for the Application of Student Visa

Respected Sir/Madam,

I would like to have this opportunity to introduce myself as a tech enthusiastic person whose life is basically all
about computers and programming. Ever since my father bought me a computer, there were hardly some days
in which I would not be on my computer learning something new, doing something interesting.

Slowly and gradually, the hobby became a passion and I made myself determinant about making a career in
Computer Science. This passion and love for computers led me to pursue Bachelors of Engineering in
Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University.

Why Master of Applied Computing at the University of Windsor?

As I considered my alternatives for post-graduate studies, the Master of Applied Computing at the University
of Windsor has emerged for various reasons. The interdisciplinary way of the program is particularly appealing
to me, as this will give me a much more extensive, more down to earth comprehension of all major concepts of
Applied Computing, including the advanced database concepts and also the network and security concepts.

With the innately worldwide nature of today’s computer programming industry, it is vital for me to
contemplate in a universal domain far from my home country, and doing as such in one of the reputed
university in Canada will absolutely give me a novel advantage in my career pursuits.

Having had the privilege to learn practical aspects of multiple programming languages and subjects such Data
and File Structure, Operating System, Database Management Systems, Object Oriented Programming With C+
+, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, Web Technology and Programming, Advanced Java
Technology etcetera in my under graduation, I am confident of adding to the paradigm diversity of the applied
computing world by joining the University of Windsor for my post-graduation.

The Master of Applied Computing offered at the University of Windsor will surely substantiate me with the
right acquaintance, dexterity, and practice to accomplish my professionalism. Advanced Computing Concepts,
Network and Data Security and Advanced Systems Programming are among the few courses, which I wish to
pursue there.

Working out with the highly experienced and skilled faculties along with the prominent facilities being
provided will surely back me in my academic pursuit.

My profile is having all the pre-requisites for the admission and I have secured my admission there. I have
secured 7.07 CGPA in my under-graduation and scored overall 7.0 bands in my IELTS test.

Extra-Curricular:

In addition to the courses that I have taken in my under-graduation, I have been exceptionally active outside of
the classroom, participating in extracurricular activities and working on personal projects in order to inspire
myself and broaden my perspectives. For instance, I have developed Personal Time Management Application,
a project, despite the fact that being non-academic, at last, gave me an opportunity to learn and implement
latest technologies for personal use.
I have developed a graphics based game which was solely focused on increasing typing efficiency of users.
Moreover, I successfully delivered a presentation to my juniors teaching them PHP Programming and
Importance of Programming. All of my past endeavors makes me feel highly motivated and energetic at
adopting new attitudes and encountering new things. This is definitely why I have chosen to keep improving
myself by considering for a graduate degree in the University of Windsor, Canada.

Why Canada?

Canada was the first and final choice for me when I was in a phase to choose a country for my post-graduation
because of some straightforward reasons. The education system of Canada is brilliant in all sorts of ways and
ranked as best among the whole world. In addition to that, Canada is a safe and peaceful nation with superb
health care facilities.

All Canadian institutes provide a dynamic, innovative and challenging environment in which one can create
and nurture their true potential. Canadian qualification will surely be a strong base for boosting my career and
building my future.

Every year, talented students from all over the globe do come Canada to study so that they can make their
dream come true. Studying with them will surely expose me to their cultures and ethics, as well as improvise
my communication skills.

Future Goals

After completion of this course, I intend to come back to my home country with the outstanding skillset and
join the IT industry, which continues to thrive in India, as a computer engineer.

In past decade, the world has shown tremendous growth in IT sector and there is and will be a huge demand
for IT professionals in near future. So, I would like to come back as a high skilled techno-functional computer
engineer and join some reputed organization to make a bright career.

Hence, after completing my course I am confident that I will easily get a suitable job in leading IT
organizations in India. At the end, my only goal is to be a successful and dynamic professional in near future
which can make me stand out amongst all. Also, I have paid 11,360 CAD in my tuition fees and 10,035 CAD
in Scotia Bank’s Student GIC Program to cover my first year living expenses.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope that you will find all my documents in proper order and I kindly request you to

My first priority in my life is knowledge and study along with pursuing my

academic dreams and aspirations. I have tried my best in it throughout my study
years. I would like to explain a brief about my achievements. I had completed my
school leaving certificate ( year 10) from Bigyan English Boarding School,
Kathmandu with 80.62 % in the year of 2014. After passing SLC I planned to join
Science with pure Biology stream then finally I completed my +2 (year 12) from
Gorkha International Public Higher Secondary School, Ghorahi, Dang with

Examination board (HSEB) with first division 61.60% in 2016. As I am a student

top of that, to achieve quality and establish myself as a student of childhood
education and care. I decided to pursue international degree and for that I started
IELTS preparation class. I undertake the IELTS examination on 3rd September
2016.

WHY AUSTRALIA
Australia has always been my first priority to study. Apart from being a
great place to get worldwide accepted education, it is also an outstanding place to
live. There is not only one reason why I choose Australia, but due to various
factors I decided to study there. Australia has more to offer to international
students in terms of education opportunities and industry relevant courses.
Australia has a diverse mutli-cultural environment which will help student to know
different culture, religion and people around the world. It is one of the top
countries in the world which provides all sorts of knowledge and experiences to
internal students. Based on my research over the internet and recommendation
from friends, family and experts I have to come to realize that Australia is one of
the safest destination for international students.
Australia also provides 2 years of post-work study time for students to get
further industrial exposure, exposure, experience letter, reference of their related
field after the completion of the study. It also ensures refund of the fees paid to
colleges in cases where we couldn’t attend the university. The education system of
Australia is based on ESOS Framework which protects the right of international
students.
One of the prior reasons for choosing Australia for my further studies over
other countries is that it is the best-suited destination for international students like
me in the context of tuition fees, climate and overall expenses. Student studying in
Australia is allowed to work up to 20 hours per week while they are studying in
Australia. This is a great opportunity for students who want to earn money to help
with living expenses during their stay and for the students who wants to gain work
experience in their field of interest.
Institutions in Australia offer a wide variety of courses and degree. So, I have been
able to easily find the colleges and right field for me. Furthermore, Australia is at
the forefront of new technology and innovations I would be able to take advantage
of the country’s impression technology and research resources increasing my
expertise and be able to apply in Nepalese context once I return back.
WHY UNIVERSITY PREPARATION COLLEGE (UPS)
After deciding to study early childhood education and care in Australia I also
researched on different colleges and universities like New Era Institute, University
Preparation College. Australian Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT). I
find the UPC the best one for me because it provides different kind of facilities and
services which are not only good but also highly appreciated by student. Although
all degree are equally valid in Nepal and equally recognized but still demand and
recognition pattern of UPC degrees are found a bit higher in Nepal in Montessori
School. UPC provides the best possible study experience equipped with multi face
academic opportunities and with the world class teaching-learning processes. On
comparison with other colleges UPC hosts faculty members that are highly
qualified professionals with years of experience who’d undoubtedly provide best
possible knowledge in every sector they teach. It offers affordable fees and also
provides access to a variety of scholarships to the deserving candidates. UPC has
outstanding educational opportunities that will enable me to achieve my best as it
provides in depth knowledge of childhood education and care. My decision to
study in UPC has been emphasized by my desire to pursue quality education.
Comparing with other colleges like Australian institute of Business and
Technology(AIBT), same courses is delivered in 7 months for certificate III in
early childhood education and care fee is 22,800 AUD. Similarly New Era Institute
delivered course on 126 weeks for 21050 AUD.

my knowledge in the subject more empirical and specific.
I have always been keen interested in Childhood Education and Care Study.
