ABSTRACT
Technical skills are important for a number of reasons. They can help you work more
efficiently, boost your confidence and make you a more valuable candidate for employers.
Candidates who have technical skills are often more confident when applying to certain industries
than those who don't. In addition, employees with technical skills are often better at multitasking in
a challenging and complex role. With sufficient technical ability, you will be able to speak to
colleagues and clients more confidently using your specialist expertise. Computer programming is
one of the most demanding fields. Candidates from top colleges, like the Indian Institutes of
Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) get paid exorbitantly. Computer
programmers can get a job in fields such as software development, web designing, software testing,
mobile app development, and much more. Nowadays, computer programming is not limited only to
the IT sector rather it has been stretched even further into other fields like Mechanical and
Electronics and hence, its demands have been increasing. The advent of Robotics and Artificial
Intelligence has also boosted the demand for computer programmers. In this article, we will
provide you with the details about the placement scope of computer programmers, skills required,
course syllabus, job roles, salaries, and top companies. Students who are developing tech skills now
are moving silently ahead of their competition. From artificial intelligence to machine learning,
shifts in the way businesses operate are evident, and understanding technology enables children to
flourish in today’s society. Skills like coding don’t only support technological understanding, they
also develop coveted transferable skills. In a world of accessible information, knowing the right
answer is less important than knowing the right question to ask. The project-centric nature of
learning technology skills instils a mindset in children which encourages them to break down
complex problems into more manageable pieces. This is a skill that is increasingly demanded at
leading universities and also in high-skilled professions

INTRODUCTION
Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
Helping local schools to achieve good result and enhancing their enrolment in higher
or technical or vocational education.
⚫ Conduction of classes on the subject of computer and coding starting from the basics.
⚫ Seminars delivered to bring awareness, to inculcate practices that are required to attain
higher studies.
⚫ To inculcate them in activities that are required for their mental and physical development
such as mental puzzles and trick questions.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
2.1 Process
• Obtaining permission from our college.
• Gathering information about various local schools that are present in our locality.
• Short listing the schools where the activity can be done accommodating with Covid
Guidelines.
• Visiting each school in order to get permission for the activity to be done.
• Since any school was not allowing a single person for the activity, looking for teammates to
help out for this activity
• Decided to conduct this activity online with one person attending the school physically to
set up the required equipment and others giving lectures via Google Meet
• Conducted activity after getting permission from the school.
• Organization of a meeting with the faculties of the school to know the current status of
technical knowledge of students
• Preparations were made accordingly after the feedback of the meeting was conducted.
• Approached students with proper pre-planning of the topics to be taught with required
presentations.
• Knowledge and understandability of students were known after conducting simple tests
after every class.
• Based on the test result from week one, the students were divided in batches in which each
person on our team focused on a particular subject and ensured that the students excel in it.
• Each of the group members handled individual classes for 2 hours.
• Totally 80 hours of teaching activity were conducted by the members of the group for 2
weeks.
2.2 Snapshots
2.3 Outcomes
• Taught the basic of computers and its application.
• Noticed improvement in students’ confidence in computer handling after conducting
classes.
• Students were interested in further learning about the subject.
• Multiple presentations were given on the topics of C programming as well as overviews of
Microsoft Office Products.
• Basic Soft Skill knowledge class and Behavioral classes were taken once a week.
• A simple test was conducted at end of each day to test the student’s progress
• Many puzzles and brain teasers were given to students throughout the seminars to keep
them engaged.
• After a week, the class was divided into batches based on the students’ strengths and
weakness
• Each member focused on improving the weak areas of students in their batch.
• Students were highly motivated to pursue their careers in computer science although some
stay neutral about this during feedback.
• This two-week project was successfully completed and we got had a great opportunity to
interact with our juniors and help shape their future.
We enjoyed teaching the students about the core concepts of computer programming, it was
fun working with them. Although only a few of them were eager to learn it to the core, some were
a bit confused though, with a little support, they followed through with the lecture. It was a nice
experience to ignite the young minds of future generations. At the end of the program, I had better
results from the seminar than I had anticipated, as we were able to motivate some students to
choose Computer Engineering as the subject they will take up while admitted into college. I wish
them the best of luck.
All of us were very glad after each and every class that students thoroughly enjoyed our
class and made complete use of it. Teachers along with the Principal were extremely happy about
our visit to the school and we were requested to again visit the school
I also received a certificate from the school faculty that I have successfully completed the program.
(which will be attached at the end of this report).
