Womens Day Script
Womens Day Script
Anchor1: A warm good MORNING to all of you present here on this beautiful day .
Anchor1: Women are mothers. Women are daughters. Women are sisters, friends,
wives, aunts and grandmothers. Women are also CEOs, police officers, doctors,
engineers, teachers, bankers, lawmakers and politicians. And they fit into all of these
roles beautifully.
Anchor2: Now, after decades of activism, equality is becoming a reality and women
are finally able to shine bright. And so, today is an important day!
This day celebrates women – young and old, rich and poor, single and committed,
house makers and office goers – this day celebrates women as they are and for being
who they are!
Anchor1: We have much fun and meaningful activities lined up for this event and I
welcome you all to enjoy the event. Thank you.

greetings to all others who are here to cheer the women in their life.
Anchor2:We have achiever’s from different fields amongst us, to motivate us and
celebrate the spirit of womanhood. .
Anchor1:Women can be whatever they want to be. Women like Indira Gandhi,
Kiran Bedi, Maya Angelou, Frida Kahlo prove to us that women are less than
no one.
These amazing women are role models for us who inspire us through their lives.

mental and financial support so that they can heal and stand up on their own feet
. Anchor2: WE feel honoured to have you here, ma’am. I would now request our
beloved chief guest to please come up on the stage and say a few words on this
