Womens day SCRIPT

Anchor1: A warm good MORNING to all of you present here on this beautiful day .

Anchor2:. I am ___________ and my co-host __________________ ARE privileged to

host the International Women’s Day event held by ORIGIN.And on this beautiful day, we
have gathered here to celebrate the amazing women among us – our teachers, our friends
and of course, ourselves!

Anchor1: Women are mothers. Women are daughters. Women are sisters, friends,
wives, aunts and grandmothers. Women are also CEOs, police officers, doctors,
engineers, teachers, bankers, lawmakers and politicians. And they fit into all of these
roles beautifully.

Anchor2: Now, after decades of activism, equality is becoming a reality and women
are finally able to shine bright. And so, today is an important day!

This day celebrates women – young and old, rich and poor, single and committed,
house makers and office goers – this day celebrates women as they are and for being
who they are!

Anchor1: We have much fun and meaningful activities lined up for this event and I
welcome you all to enjoy the event. Thank you.

Both anchors 1&2: Happy women’s day TO EVERYONE

LAMP LIGHTINING:

Anchor2:Light is a symbol of brightness and prosperity as sunlight expels the

darkness .
similarly blessings bring prosperity and happiness in OUR LIVES.

no one.

These amazing women are role models for us who inspire us through their lives.

Anchor2:And today, I am delighted to share the space with such an amazing
