SUPPLIMENTARY AGREEMENT FOR TOD METERING

FOR LT IV INDUSTRIAL CONSUMERS

Board (here in after referred to as ‘the board’ which expression shall, where the context to
admits or implies, be deemed to include its successors or assignee as well) on the first part

whereby it is agreed to enter in to this agreement on the following terms and conditions in
addition to the existing agreement executed or undertaking provided along with the original
application between the aforesaid parties on the…………………………………… (here in after
called the principal agreement):

1. The Board shall furnish to the consumer and the consumer shall take from the board
all the energy required for operation, and lighting the consumer’s premises at
……………………………………… upto a total quantity of ……………………..
KVA(………………………………………………………………….. KVA in words) hereinafter called
the Contract Demand. The supply to the Consumer shall be in the form of three
phase alternating current at a frequency of approximately 50 cycles per second.
Power upto a maximum of ………………………………. KVA (Contract Demand) will be
supplied at a voltage (pressure) of approximately 3 phase, 415 volts.

2. The Recorded Maximum Demand (RMD) in KVA will be the power delivered to the
point of supply of the consumer and recorded during the 30 minutes period of
maximum use in each time zone in the month. The Demand based on which the
consumer will be billed for a month (Billing Demand) shall be as per the Tariff Orders
in force from time to time.

3. The consumer shifted to LT TOD metering maximum demand based tariff be allowed
to increase or decrease the declared contract demand within six months from the
date of change without any charges in cases where there is no alteration or change
in installation and where the revised contract demand does not exceed the
connected load existing prior to this agreement/undertaking.

4. The consumer also agrees that when the Recorded Maximum Demand (RMD) for any
three consecutive months exceeds the contract demand as specified in this
agreement and the Board and the consumer have not entered into a new agreement
for a higher contract demand (which is greater than or equal to the above said
Recorded Maximum Demand), the supply to the consumer shall be disconnected
without notice. The consumer also liable to pay the excess charges at a percentage
as shown in the tariff notification in force from time to time.

5. The consumer agrees, that if the supply is utilized for purposes other than that
shown in the service connection agreement, he shall remit the amount that may be
charged for the entire supply as if the tariff applicable is the highest one in vogue in
the Board for the various uses put to by him for the entire period.

6. Save as varied as aforesaid all the Terms & Conditions of the Principal agreement or
undertaking provided along with the original application shall remain in full force and
effect.

7. The Electricity Act 2003, The Kerala Electricity Supply Code 2005, The Kerala State
Electricity Board Terms and Conditions of Supply, 2005 and all rules and regulations
framed under the Act as amended from time to time will apply to the terms of these
agreements / undertaking.
