World War I Performance Task Rubric

Description: You are a World War I historian looking to spread your knowledge of the Great War. You
see an advertisement from a museum committee asking for someone to create an exhibit on an
important event of World War I. It can be anything, as long as it is creative. You see this as your
opportunity to show off your knowledge, and you decide to create an exhibit, highlighting what you think
is the most important event or battle in World War I.

[You will not be graded on whether or not you persuade your peers to think your event is the most
important]

Broad Expectations:
● Describe 1 event of World War I
● Present the event in a creative, “exhibit” format
● Explain why you believe this to be the most important event of World War I
