HYBRID COVO RUGARE

OUTSTANDING QUALITIES
 Break-through technology - grown from Seed
 Widely adapted, can be grown year-round
 Vigorous, highly productive and profitable

Hybrid Covo Rugare Gold PLUS is a revolutionary break-through product. The variety was bred by Avanos
Seeds specifically for the Zimbabwean market. Unlike its traditional counterpart, Hybrid Covo Rugare
Gold PLUS is grown from seeds and has many advantages. Hybrid Covo Rugare Gold PLUS is a fast-
growing variety with high marketable yields. The crop can be reaped weekly or twice weekly under good
management. The leaves have long stems, making them easy to bundle without damaging the leaf.
Hybrid Covo Rugare Gold PLUS can be planted year-round in all conditions. It has a sweet taste and
tender leaf, longer shelf life and cooks in a significantly shorter time than traditional covo. Hybrid Covo
Rugare Gold PLUS responds well to organic fertilizers such as compost or well-decomposed manure. High
application of inorganic fertilizers such as AN may give a bitter taste and are recommended only in
moderate use.
