pacemaker is being used, be sure to read the pacemaker instruction manual and the

Remove the air conditioning unit assembly (HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING > FRONT AIR
CONDITIONING UNIT > REMOVAL).

NOTICE:
Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.

(1) Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove
the ID code box (immobiliser code ECU).

2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY
Install the air conditioning unit assembly (HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING > FRONT AIR
CONDITIONING UNIT > INSTALLATION).

2. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
NOTICE:
Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.
(a) for LHD
(1) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the
certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)
as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
• If the ECU integration box RH is
deformed or damaged, replace it.

Remove the roof side inner garnish assembly LH (AUDIO / VIDEO > AMPLIFIER ANTENNA >
REMOVAL).
2. REMOVE DIGITAL KEY ECU ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.
(a) Disconnect the 1 connector.

(c) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the digital key ECU assembly.
NOTICE:
• If the digital key ECU assembly is deformed or damaged, replace it.
• Do not bend the 2 claws more than necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL DIGITAL KEY ECU ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.
(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the digital key ECU assembly with the bolt.
(b) Connect the 1 connectors.
NOTICE:
• Make sure that the digital key ECU assembly is securely installed.
• If the digital key ECU is deformed or damaged, replace it.
• Do not bend the 2 claws more than necessary.
2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
Install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH (AUDIO / VIDEO > AMPLIFIER ANTENNA >
INSTALLATION).
