ANNUAL SUKKAH HOP This year the Sukkah Hop will take place on Shabbat afternoon, October 15th. The groups will be split up by grades Nursery - 1/2 and 4/5 - 8 We should meet at YIWH at 4:30 PM and the Children should be returning around 6:00

The importance of hakarat hatov of recognizing the good that people have done - cannot be emphasized enough. Although I thanked people before Neilah I would like to do so again because they deserve it again and again and they deserve it in a more official written way. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur meaningful for our shul. It was so special to be all together during this important time of the year. Making an Eruv Tavshilin On Erev Yom Tov, the head of the household, or his designee, should set aside a baked item such as bread or matzoh, and a cooked item such as meat, fish, or eggs (i.e. food that is eaten along with bread). He or she should then recite the blessing of Baruch ...Al Mitvas Eruv and the proclamation, both found in the Artscroll Siddur p. 654. Once done, the eruv covers all household members and guests. The food set aside for the eruv should be saved and eaten on Shabbat. Shul handles set up & Clean up!
