2. On or about 2.a.m in the morning of October 19, 2023, at 641 Sales Street, Sta. Cruz, City of Manila,
Robbers destroyed the back window of one of the toilets of MP Construction store of Engr. Michael
Pangilinan. According to latter, that 500 bags of cement, 20 wheel barrows, and cash of P500,000.00
were missing in his store and he suspects one of his helpers, named Joselito Batumbakal to be one
of the culprits. Batumbakal and a companion Arnulfo Sieraul were former employees of Engr.
Michael C. Pangilinan previously dismissed due to dishonesty and being engaged in thefts at
Muntinlupa Police Station drug abuse.

3. Immediately upon receipt of the report, PNP elements of Western district police led by PO2 Shy
Roble, PO2 Raendel Wayne Delfin and PO2 Fiderly Ortega proceeded to the place of incident to
conduct ocular inspection and investigation over the case. Initial Investigation disclosed that robbers
entered the premises of the MP Construction Store owned by Engr. Michael C. Pangilinan by
destroying the back window of one of the toilets. According to the owner, 500 bags of cement, 20
wheel barrows, and cash of P500,000.00 were missing. He named (2) former employees; namely
Joselito Batumbakal and Arnulfo Sieraul who were previously dismissed due to dishonesty and being
engaged in thefts at Muntinlupa Police Station drug abuse. The suspects had a record of previous
according to Engr. Pangilinan.
4. According to the witness, witness identified as Eduardo Labrador saw the suspects used an owner
jeep stainless with two (2) others inside the jeep at about 2 a.m. during that time of incident.

5. Facts reveal driver was not a participant as he was just commandeered by the suspects. Evidences
mentioned above were recovered. Witness statement was also taken.

6. The suspects was arrested at their houses during hot-pursuit operation conducted, and they are now
under the custody Manila Police District for investigation and proper disposition.

7. A case for Robbery under Art. 293 of the Revised Penal Code has already been filed at the City
Prosecutors Office against Joselito Batumbakal, Arnulfo Sieraul, Pedro Kinalawang and Kuri M. Mao
the suspect is currently under the custody of Western District Police while appropriate charges are
being prepared to be trail in court.
