    1. Does the creator of the cartoon think that the United States should be
    involved in the conflict between Cuba and Spain?
    In the image, it seems that the author wanted to get into this conflict in order to
    dominate at least one of the two. He sees it as a clear opportunity to "eat the
    nation".
    2. Based on what you learned in the lesson, what is the cartoon saying
    about the war?
    Practically all the images of this type have the same thoughts and intentions.
    They are in favor of the intervention of the United States mainly because of the
    benefits they received.
    3. After seeing this cartoon, how would you feel about the war as an
    American?
    If I were an American I think I would be quite happy with the outcome of the war. I
    would also be surprised, because what was originally going to be a complicated
    war, the United States of America participated in a relatively easy conflict and
    came out very well off. If I were an American, I would be proud of what my nation
    has achieved.
