    Early life:

    Born in south Africa on June 28, 1971.


    His father was an engineer and mother was a Canadian
    model.
    At the age of 9, he got his first personal computer.
    Self-taught computer programmer.
    Sold a video game (Blaster) created by him for $500 at
    the age of 12.
    At age 17, in 1989, Musk moved to Canada to attend
    Queen’s University.
    Studied physics and economics from University of
    Pennsylvania at the age of 24.
     He Enrolled in Stanford University for PhD in energy
    physics but left after attending for two days to pursue
    his entrepreneurial aspirations in the area of The
    Internet, Clean Energy and Outer Space.

    Space X :
     In 2002, he started one of the most
    unthinkable ventures of all time, a rocket
    company called
    spaceX.
     They had three rocket failures, 3rd failure
    almost killed the company.
     In 2008, 4th rocket was successfully
    launched.
     SpaceX Built Reusable rockets in 2015.
    Goals of spaceX:
     To reduce the cost of human
    spaceflights.
     In an interview, he said that he
    hopes to send humans on
    Mars surface within 10-20
    years.
     He wishes to establish a Mars
    colony by 2040, with a
    population of 80,000.
     He revealed that SpaceX is
    aiming to launch the first
    cargo mission to Mars in 2022.
    Tesla motors:
    He is the founder of second most unthinkable project,
    an electric car company called Tesla.
    A company formed in 2003 is dedicated to produce
    affordable, mass-market electric cars
    Battery products and solar roofs.
    Tesla released its first electric
    car (Roadster) in 2008 which
    encountered various quality
    issues that led to multiple
    recalls.

    He said;
    “Tesla is here to stay and keep
    fighting for the electric car
    revolution.”
    Musk and tesla saved south
    Africa from an energy crisis after
    a storm.
    He signed an agreement with
    SA Govt. to built a $65.5 million
    battery within 100 days or it
    would be free.
    He completed the task just
    before two weeks of deadline.
     Musk and his company space x
    launched a car into space in 2018
    named as Tesla Roadster with a
    dummy on driver seat named
    Starman.
     The falcon heavy rocket launched
    the car into space.
     Not for any scientific purpose.
     Starman has spent more than 550
    days in outer space till now.
    After tsunami in Japan musk donated $250 million.
    He has also signed up to bill gate’s The giving
    pledge, which is an agreement for the wealthiest
    people in the world to donate half of their estates
    when they die.
    He says he didn’t become an entrepreneur in order
    to be financially successful. He radically wanted to
    change the world for better.
    He said;
    “When I was in college, I wanted to be involved in
    things that would change the world.”
    Elon musk is more than your perception of a
    regular entrepreneur.
    He’s always learning and accepting failure.
    Never seized to dream big.
    A self-made billionaire and an ingenious
    innovator of the modern times.
