Type of Shipments
DOC (DOCUMENT)
• Shipment with no commercial value (Letter, documents, certificates,
etc)
• This type of shipment require Airway bill only without any other
supporting document.

NONDOC (NON DOCUMENT)

• Shipment with commercial value (or non commercial value other
than document) that must go through customs clearance process
at destination country.
• This type of shipment require Airwaybill & invoice declaring
description of content & value of the shipment
• Sometime require other supporting paperwork such as permit &
license (depend of the content and import regulation of
destination country)

WHAT ARE THE MAIN CHANGES?

Customs will release the shipment by issuing

Customs will hold the shipment. When the
Customs Complete document has been completed, shipment will be

5. Importer must keep all documents in point 2 and PIB at the
minimum of 5 (five) years for inspection/audit
