At the forefront of change, the Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) stands as the unwavering voice of women who have bravely served or are currently serving in the military. As a dynamic and member-driven network, we are steadfast in our dedication to advocating, connecting, and providing unwavering support for the individual and collective needs of service women; past, present, and future.
Through tireless legislative advocacy and groundbreaking research, SWAN has been instrumental in reshaping the landscape for service women. Our efforts have been pivotal in opening all military roles to women, ensuring accountability for sex offenders within the military justice system, removing barriers to disability claims for survivors of military sexual trauma, and expanding access to a comprehensive spectrum of reproductive healthcare services for military women. This relentless pursuit of change and progress echoes our commitment to empowering and uplifting the courageous women who serve our nation.
