Discounts, exam reimbursement programs, and scholarships help actuarial science students and exam candidates along the pathway to becoming an actuary.

Discount Rates

If eligible for a reduced rate, candidates will receive the option of selecting either the full-time student status or international discount at the time of registration.

Reimbursement Programs

• Academic Exam Fee Reimbursement
  Reimbursement program for full–time university faculty and full–time Ph.D. students passing eligible exams and assessments
• Actuarial Exam Support Program – Be An Actuary
  The Actuarial Exam Support Program is a pilot program administered jointly by the Casualty Actuarial Society and Society of Actuaries to provide assistance to actuarial exam candidates who are most in need of support paying for exam registration fees and study materials, aiding and encouraging them in their actuarial journey.

  The program is designed to increase academic actuaries who hold a PhD and an actuarial designation, and who intend to pursue academic careers in the United States or Canada.

    The Caribbean Actuarial Scholarship is an annual award for University of the West Indies (UWI) undergraduate actuarial student(s).

    The Actuary - A Career Change: Elizabeth M. Mauro Reimbursement Program recognizes the limited resources available to career changers aspiring to transition into the actuarial profession. Rewarded annually this program also allows applicants to request mentorship.
