Building professional communication skills has been a long-standing commitment at the Society of Actuaries. Skillful communication to executive-level audiences provides an opportunity for greater impact from of our actuarial work. The ability to analyze and provide actionable insights will fall short if we aren't able to succinctly present and persuade stakeholders in positions of influence. In this session, two actuaries will share lessons and practices for executive-level communications as learned from and shared by our management consulting colleagues. After the key principles are shared, you’ll roll up your sleeves and revise a few of your presentation slides to see how applying even one or two of the concepts discussed can improve your communication style. ed.
