Keyshawn Davis has gone from prospect to the real deal rather quickly. The 25-year-old looks to continue his momentum when he faces Miguel Madueno in New Jersey.

The 2020 Olympic silver medalist competed in February, beating former two-division world champion Jose Pedraza in a one-sided affair, ending the fight via TKO in the sixth. Davis (10-0) looks to go 2-0 in 2024 with 2023 Trainer of the Year Brian “Bomac” McIntyre by his side.

The fight is the co-main event under Shakur Stevenson’s WBC lightweight title defense against Artem Harutyunyan. It is the fourth time in his career Davis competes on a card with Stevenson as the headliner. “The Businessman” is ready to be a leading man, but first he must get past Madueno.

Madueno (31-2) is a former NABF super lightweight title contender. After losing against title contender Steve Claggett to end 2023, the 25-year-old beat Justin Pauldo in February. “Explosivo” has 28 wins via knockout.

“Madueno is a tough fighter with more than 30 pro fights, and I have a lot of respect for what he brings to the table,” Davis said. I love fighting in Newark. The fans there are special, and I am going to feed off their energy and put on a show,” Davis told Boxing Scene.
