Repairs to U.S. Highway 61, between 70th street and Highway 10, have been delayed until May 2.
The previously scheduled April 27 repairs are being pushed back due to weather, but U.S. 61 will still be reduced to single-lane starting May 2.
Southbound U.S. Highway 61 will be reduced to single-lane at 6 a.m., on May 2, until 11 p.m. on May 15. This section of repairs will be between 70th street and U.S. Highway 10 in the Cottage Grove area.
Northbound U.S. 61 will be reduced to single-lane 9 a.m., on May 15, until May 26. The northbound section repairs will be between U.S. Highway 10 to 70th street.
With the repairs expected to be completed by May 26, the Minnesota Department of Transportation notes that weather conditions may impact the schedule and road closures. The community can stay up to date at www.511mn.org.
