Expenditure and Input Data Analysis

USAID's investments in expenditure and input data analysis aim to advance transparency, oversight, and accountability of HIV programming to ensure resources are routinely tracked and optimally invested.

Our Approach and Results

In alignment with the PEPFAR Efficiency Action Agenda, USAID continues to lead on generation, analysis, and use of granular financial data to better understand performance, assess efficiency, and optimize future resource allocation. Activities include:

  • Developing innovative and integrated analytics and dashboards that relate PEPFAR investments and inputs to outputs and outcomes;

  • Providing technical leadership and support to use financial data and guide and inform data-driven resource allocation decisions; and,

  • Promoting data literacy to leverage financial and input data for strategic decision-making.
