PLYMOUTH – It has been nearly two decades since Plymouth started hosting the Jennifer Kane Memorial Softball Tournament in memory of a former Plymouth Youth Softball player who died in the 9-11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. The continued desire to honor Kane is a driving force that’s made the youth softball tournament as popular as ever.
Kane was a 26-year-old accountant from West Plymouth who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. The Villanova graduate worked for Marsh & McLennan on the 100th floor of the WTC’s North Tower.
