Braun has announced that his retirement from music management after 23 years.

This isn’t her first time at Electric Lady Studios in recent months, either. 

“I’ve been given a tiara, then had it taken away,” Swift said in a new profile.

The high-powered music executive will also have to pay his ex-wife, Yael Cohen, a $20 million settlement.

The pair remain friends, however, and have no immediate plans to divorce.

The music manager denied her accusations that he’s a “bully,” saying, “It would be really nice if we all give each other a little bit of grace.”

Fans noticed what appears to be a subtle jab at the music manager who bought and sold Swift's masters.

The pop star assured fans she's “just gonna keep cruising.”

“My contract says that starting November 2020, so next year, I can record albums one through five all over again,” Swift said last year.

Perhaps as a 30th birthday present to herself, she used her speech at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards to talk about her nemesis, Scooter Braun, and the private equity takeover of the music industry.

On Thursday night, Braun finally spoke up about Swift’s claim that he and Big Machine were interfering with a career-spanning performance on Sunday.

The battle between the artist and her former label came to a head last week , and the music manager reportedly wants to be excluded from this narrative.

The pop star claimed that her longtime nemesis, who recently took control of a large swath of her master recordings, is interfering with an upcoming performance and Netflix documentary, and called on her fans to support her pushback.

Whatever the newly political Taylor Swift does next, it will surely be seen as a response one way or another.
