WELCOME:Computer graphics designers Chuck Ernst (l.) and Zac Stark have joined Stern Pinball Inc.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Stern Pinball Inc. has announced that Chuck Ernst and Zac Stark have joined the company's game design team.

Ernst becomes computer graphics art director for the Stern Pinball Game Design Studio. He is a 28-year videogame production veteran who has done programming and art creation for more than 45 titles by Atari, Sega, THQ, Konami, Midway and WB Games. Prior to joining Stern Pinball, he served as technical character design lead for "Mortal Kombat X" at Nether Realm Studios (Chicago).

Stark is also an experienced computer graphics artist, with expertise in 3D animation and 3D modeling. He has created digital animations for numerous Mattel handheld toys. Most recently, he has focused on creating virtual versions of Ty Toys and MGA Toys for use in Web-based games.

The two computer graphic artists are expected to help advance pinball's gameplay features.

"We are delighted to have these two talented artists join our studio," said executive vice-president of game development George Gomez.
