RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) — You can now get a Chattanooga Public Library card for free if you live in Red Bank.

The Red Bank Board of Commissioners developed this new program after an overwhelming request for library services from the community.

This new program will give residents full access to the public library.

They’re giving out 100 library cards at Red Bank City Hall, with hopes of more on the way.

They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A valid form of ID and proof of residency is required.

Cards are limited to one per household.

Red Bank’s newly created Community Development department is overseeing the program, which is actively raising funds to be matched by the City of Red Bank.
