In the 1900 census, John (age 14) was the son of George H Robinette in District 15 Election District, Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Note that his birth is off by 10 years, he should be 24.[3]
In the 1910 census, Jno (age 33) was the married head of household in Baltimore Ward 14, Baltimore (Independent City), Maryland, United States.[4]
In the 1920 census, John (age 43) was the married head of household in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States.[5]
In the 1930 census, John (age 52) was the widowed head of household in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States.[6]
John died on 6 October 1937 and was buried in Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland, United States.[7]
World War 1 Draft Registration
On the World Wat 1 Draft Registration on September 12, 1918, John Hamilton Robinette said he was born on July 11, 1876. He lived at 400 Hanover Street and worked at City Hall in Baltimore? as the Pres. of Comm. Opening Streets. His nearest relative is Julia G. Robinette of the same address. He was tall and slender, with hazel eyes and dark brown hair.[8]

In 1900, George H. Robinette, 55 year old b. October 1844, worked as a locomotive engineer. He lived in a house he rented at 21 East Hill Street with his wife Mary A., 37 b. August 1862; and 3 children: Mary, 5 b. November 1894; John H., 13 b. July 1886 (year is incorrect if you look at the image, you can see it was written over); and Alice M., 7 b. November "1882". All were born in Maryland, as were their parents. George and Mary have been married for 18 years, and Mary has had 5 children, all of whom were then living.[9]

As indicated above the 1900 census has the birth year of John as 1886, when it should be 1876 per all other sources.
