6 First Alert Forecast - Mild close to the weekend, small shower chances on Easter
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Much like yesterday, we will see cloud cover increase early in the morning hours.
Unlike our Wednesday, though, those should clear out around midday.
That sets us up well for a mild and sunny afternoon where we peak in the low to mid 60s.
Winds will also be very quiet through the day.
Friday will start off with a partly cloudy sky but clouds will expand as the day goes on.
That will not prevent us from having another warm day as we top out in the mid to upper 60s.
A front comes through Friday night, which will pick the winds up; gusts could reach 30 miles per hour overnight.
We could also see a shower or two near the Kansas and Missouri borders early on Saturday.
Temperatures stay cooler for Saturday with highs in the mid 50s but the rest of the day should be dry.
Easter Sunday will again give us the small chance for a shower or two with the daytime hours likely dry.
It will be mostly cloudy through the day with temps in the mid 50s at their peak.
Better chances for showers move in for Monday with temps struggling to get back to 50 degrees.
After Tuesday morning, the rest of next week looks dry with a warming trend taking us to near 70 degrees by Thursday.
